Simplex-IT's First Golf Outing Sponsorship
Hey everyone, Patti here to tell you about our first golf outing sponsorship experience! Simplex-IT sponsored the beverage cart at the Stow-Monroe Falls Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing Last Friday (6/22) at Fox Den Golf Course in Stow. The weather was looking a little unpredictable that day, so we didn't know what to expect. Luckily we dodged the storms (although not the rain). Alex and I set up at the far end of the golf course, right by the beverage cart. We took a huge basket of candy and an Atari Flashback videogame system to raffle off, which was a big hit. As was our tent. Just a 13x13 Easy Up Coleman tent from Amazon, but boy did it get the compliments. I think people were just looking to hang out under it to stay dry, and we were happy to accommodate. The highlight of Alex’s day was seeing the deer run by, and of course driving a golf cart for the first time. We got to meet and talk to so many nice people (some many, many times as they frequented the beverage cart) 😉All in all, we froze our buns off in the wind and rain, avoided getting hit by golf balls (although there were a few close calls!) and had a great time. I wish we would have gotten a picture of us crammed in the golf cart with our tent, table, sign, raffle prize, and 2 tote boxes of candy, materials, and give-aways, we were definitely overloaded! The Stow-Monroe Falls Chamber of Commerce has some great members, and they are so supportive of each other. We enjoyed getting out there and representing Simplex-IT! Oh, and the raffle winner?
