Microsoft 2018 Product Roadmap webinar

Microsoft To-Do GraphicMicrosoft Matters

You may have heard of Microsoft. They’re pretty big in the IT world. Ok, so they might not be the everything to everyone that they were around 1995-2000, but they’re still one of the biggest players in IT, especially from the corporate perspective. And yet, it’s sometimes maddening to figure out what they’re doing with their products, especially if you’re looking at them from the perspective of a small to medium business. And their habit of bizarre and confusing naming habits doesn’t help. Seriously, whose idea was it to name Microsoft 365 (which is essentially a superset of Office 365)?But Microsoft usually has a method to their madness. And often the strategy for one product (say Office 2018) has as much to do with another (say Office 365 or Microsoft Exchange) product as the updated product itself.Click here to RSVP for our webinar. So, as always, we’re going to jump in and help. We’re going to have a free webinar on Tuesday March 20th from 2-2:30pm (eastern) where Bob Coppedge will review some of the things coming up in the next year. Topics will include:

  • Windows 10 updates
  • Office 2019
  • Microsoft 365
  • Buh-bye, Skype for Business, hullo Teams
  • SharePoint Server 2019
  • Exchange Server 2019
  • Cortana goes mainstream
  • Windows Server “Project Honolulu”
  • Azure

This won’t be a tech deep-dive on any of these products, but an overview of Microsoft’s strategies (from Bob’s perspective) and what it means to organizations.

Should you join us?

If you’re making decisions on upgrading systems and/or technologies, you’ll be interested in this presentation. As always, don’t look for this to be a Microsoft love fest, or a Redmond-bash. And don’t look for Bob to be subtle. Just doesn’t happen.Click here to RSVP.
