We want you in the Sales Person role to help extend that brand message out to our potential customers while building new relationships.But we deliver the goods. We work with customers using a variety of managed services that increase their user productivity, stabilize costs and improve security. Our solutions include Managed IT Support Services, VoIP phone systems, network installation services, Business Intelligence, consulting, hardware and software sales, business continuity/disaster recovery systems, network security and secure remote access solutions. We have developed strong partnerships with vendors such as Microsoft, HP and Sophos.As our first Sales Person, you will be partially responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the small and medium business market. You will also be provided opportunities through Simplex-IT’s wide variety of marketing programs. You will meet with decision-makers and discover their needs and opportunities while communicating Simplex-IT’s brand and value. You will assist and ultimately lead the sales cycle and coordinate all resources needed. Additionally, you will assist in identifying areas for improvement and recommend solutions to increase business efficiencies and productivity while reducing costs to monitor, manage, secure and improve the network systems of our prospective clients. The sales process will be based on value as you use a consultative, customer-focused sales approach that is unique to our industry and sets us apart from our competitors.You will be expected to meet or exceed the projected dollar volumes in terms of revenues and profitability, as well as meeting the sales activity requirements. In return, we offer a competitive salary with the ability to earn uncapped commissions. Minimum first year salary should be $50k-80k+.The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years prior sales (preferably in the Information Technology world) experience including prospecting for new business through referral relationships, direct meetings, networking, and cold calling
- Proven success of consistently achieving and/or exceeding monthly sales revenues
- Team Player. A good cultural fit is critical. Simplex-IT’s culture is our Value Proposition, and vice versa.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to document steps, activities and progress throughout sales cycle
- Strong telephone and face-to-face presentation skills; ability to listen well and the ability to create sales opportunities
- College degree preferred, preferably in Sales/Marketing or Business Administration
- Self-starter with a solid work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong working knowledge of the sales process and a heavy emphasis on client satisfaction (candidates who are responsive and empathetic to client needs)
- Commitment to achieve vendor specific sales-certifications with our key business partners
- Ability to travel locally.
