October's Client Quarterly Training Recap

October’s Quarterly Client Training was a big success as far as we’re concerned. The event had approximately 12% of our client base represented. Overall, we are very happy with the turnout but would like to see the percentage of participants grow over the next year. We appreciate our client’s generosity! A big thank you to those who donated to our Akron Children’s Hospital superhero toy drive. To add to the fun, we also raffled off a mini Space Invaders arcade! Congratulations to our winner Samantha from CTI.This round we discussed the following topics… Collaborating with Office 365 where Patti and Bob gave live demo’s on the best ways to incorporate critical organizational tools to strengthen your employee’s effectiveness. Protecting and backing up your Office365 was presented by Kurt one of our Level III technicians where he covered vulnerabilities and compliance standards. Do you know if your Office365 is backed up? What is the impact to your business if you were to lose that information? And finally, Adam also a Level III technician covered Planning for Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 end of life. End of life is quickly approaching in 2020. Do you know how many workstations and servers you have using this soon to be obsolete software? What does that mean and how does it impact your business? Do you need help making a strategy plan for upgrades? All of these questions to think about… that’s why we are here and happy to help! Even if you didn’t attend, please feel free to reach out with questions on the above topics.January is promising to be another information packed event. We are looking ahead to Datto RMM an introduction to our new remote monitoring tool, Cyber Security training and phishing education as well as securing your remote workforce. Making sure remote users are protected and compliant? More information to follow on the date and the non-profit we will be supporting. By the way, suggestions on topics are always welcome!See you when the snow falls! We’ll be sure to have plenty of hot beverages and warm comfort food!- Michelle
