Are People Stupid?

Are People Stupid? Not you, of course…

I can’t believe how stupid people are when it comes to security! Bad passwords! Same passwords all over the place! No firewall rules! It’s not like…oh, wait…

How many people still smoke (in the usa, 34 million)?

How many people drink and drive (4 million admit it) How many people drive without a license (they’re responsible for 20% of accidents)

Way too many people think the whole “Star Wars” franchise is for grownups…

Homes without smoke detectors? Responsible for almost 60% of fire fatalities.

How many people think the sun revolves around the earth (1 in 4).

71% of Americans think Alexander Hamilton was a President.

The fact is, a lot of us can be judged as stupid based on one bad practice or habit. Sometimes that habit is a personal one. Other times it can impact our entire family or even organization. So we shouldn’t judge a person as a complete idiot unless we’re ready to turn the mirror around and look at our own behavior.

That said…it’s time to start taking security seriously. And stop smoking...and seriously, what is it with Star Wars and sand??

Tell me how stupid you are here!
