Microsoft 365 Price Hike – Wack or Warranted?

There’s a price increase for your Microsoft 365 licensing coming in March. Now before you start complaining, Microsoft has not increased the pricing for their products for about 10 years so it’s kind of overdue. They have added a lot of additional functionality without increasing the price.

Also, it’s not every product that’s increasing, however it is the following:

  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic

  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium

  • Microsoft Office 365 E1, E3, E5,

  • Microsoft 365 E3

All of those are going up anywhere from 10-25% starting in March. There are also changes that are going to happen in terms of your flexibility for increasing or decreasing your licensing on the fly, but we’ll talk about that as a separate.

So, if you are in charge of the budget, now is a good time to take a look at your licensing and make sure you’ve only got the licenses that you need. Also, make sure you have the subscription that’s appropriate for your organization.

If you would like some help in evaluating your 365 usage, we are just a phone call or email away. Simplex-IT can help you with your 365, both to make sure you’ve got the right licensing, that you are taking advantage of it, and that it’s properly secured, configured, and protected.

So are you ready for this price increase?

Is it going to bug you at all?
