Manufacturing Works Nuts and Bolts Bash

Ryan, Hayley, and I attended the Manufacturing Works Nuts and Bolts Bash on 11/17/22. We’ve been members of Manufacturing Works for years, and recently started sponsoring some of their events. It’s such a great organization and the Nuts and Bolts Bash is an annual event to raise funds for the programs they deliver throughout the year.

The Manufacturing industry is such an important part of northeast Ohio, and so many of our clients are manufacturing companies, we knew we wanted to be a part of not only this event, but also be part of this organization.

This event was held in the Draft Room of the First Energy Stadium, which is such a cool venue with amazing views of our beautiful Lake Erie. They had awesome appetizers, a couple bars to keep everyone hydrated, and even a Makers Mark bourbon tasting.

The fundraising came from an auction of various items, including Notre Dame football sideline tickets, Cavaliers club seats, and Goodyear tires. There was a wine pull which I thought was a fun way to try a new wine. If you’re not familiar with a wine pull (this was my first one) all the wines are bagged so you don’t know what you’re getting. You buy a ticket and pick one out, pretty neat.

One of the most important things about events like this is the networking. Meeting new people and catching up with those I haven’t seen in a while is wonderful. The best conversation I had was with one of our clients who was singing the praises of our Technician Kate because she took such great care of him earlier in the day. Thanks Joe, it was so nice to hear.

As the Mission Sponsor of the event, one of the neatest things was seeing that the other Mission Sponsor was one of our newest clients, Keystone Threaded Products. I had the opportunity to catch up with them and hear how the transition went, and how things are going now.

Many thanks to Manufacturing Works for a great evening! We are looking forward to sponsoring, attending, and even hosting more events with this organization in 2023.
